Sherwood bike day - Sherwood & Mapperley Transition Group
Saturday 27th March 2010
This meeting will be at ‘The Place’ on Melrose Street ( off Mansfield Road, behind the bus depot) from 10am - 2pm - anyone interested in cycling or already cycling is welcome to come - snacks & refreshments will be provided by mm…deli.
On March 17, 7:45pm at The Oak Tree there will be a meeting to finalise plans and to have a quick look round The Place. Please come along if you are interested in getting involved.

This event is part of an ongoing series of arts events in Lambley. To mark the Lambley tradition of Cowslip Sunday a ceilidh will be held in Lambley Village Hall 7pm - 10.30pm. - catering by mm…deli
RSPCA Dog Walk

all day on Sunday May 23rd is the RSPCA dog walk on Wollaton Park - we’ll be there as usual, providing refreshments for the dog walkers!

Camper Jam

3 day Family VW Bus Event for all types of VW @ Weston Park, Shropshire - come & check it out & bring your VW if you have one! All kinds of activities for children, adults - even a dog show!
Chesterfield Canal Festival
Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th July 2010
Free 2 day festival at Worksop Rugby Club, by Morse Lock 10am to 5pm each day. The Festival is part of Bassetlaw Arts Fortnight. Expect the following: Visiting boats, Boat trips, Canal Societies, Charities, Canal Ware, Children’s rides, Carlo the Clown, dozens of Stalls plus Food and Drink including a Real Ale Bar & us - mm…yummy!
Nottingham Pride

A new bigger location for Nottingham Pride 2010 at the Forest Recreation Ground - Pride festival celebrating diversity - music, speakers corner, stalls, 12 -8pm- check the Nottingham Pride website out for the Pride march route & times.
Pagan Pride
Sunday 1st August 2010
Pagan Pride at the Arboretum, Nottingham 12 -6pm. Pagan Pride is about positive promotion and raising awareness of Paganism, Witchcraft and Magical Practices. The usual music, entertainment, stalls will be there- There will also be a march through Nottingham - check the Pagan Pride website out for more details.
